LIVING IN NORWAY

Norway is one of the Nordic countries and we have everything from seas to high mountains. I live and I was born in Norway. When I think of Norway, I think of the four very different seasons that come every year. The winter in Norway can be very cold and it comes lots of snow. People goes skiing and does other winter activities. The spring in Norway is my favorite season. Everything gets lighter and lighter and the sun stays longer and longer up in the sky. The ice and all the snow melts and all the flowers are peeking out.  It gets warmer and warmer outside and suddenly, it's almost summer. The summer is also beautiful in Norway. Students, children and parents have vacation and families spend more time together. I think the autum in Norway can be pretty sad. The reason that I think so is because you know that it will get darker and darker outside. And colder and colder and quickly the summer will seem far, far away. People that comes from for example Africa, thinks often that ice bears are walking around in the streets when they think of Norway. That's not quite right.

The picture above is Noways highest mountain and it's called "Galhøgpiggen". I was there with my old class when I was twelve years old.

  1. I agree with you, spring in Norway is beautiful. And spring is the best season. It has promise of something starting and summer is yet to come! But you chose a beautiful winter picture instead and winter and snow is beautiful too!

  2. We also have 4 seasons over here in Nebraska. I think winter is one of my most liked season because when it snows here snow comes down good most of the time. Summers are get really hot here maybe not as hot as there but and the other thing i like about summer is the rain I love the rain and the morning glories bloom in the beginning of summer.

    1. I was glad i could see the picture of the mountain, most of us around here don't see mountains very much and its cool that you say you visited there at twelve years old. Nebraska's weather is way different then most because one day it could be 45 degrees outside then a few hours later it could jump up to 85-90 degrees and be the most beautiful day you have ever witnessed.
